Cruelty Free Skin Care Routine

Hello my little beauty tribe! I wanted to quickly write a review about a couple cruelty free skin care products that I’ve been using. The products are travel size, because I like to try it before buying the larger products. FYI my skin is combination. In the winter my skin does tend to be dry. Please leave a comment and don’t forget to subscribe to my blog.

Nourish Organic-Lightweight Moisturizing Face Lotion Argan+Rosewater

I bought this face lotion at Target for $3.99. It has lasted a long time surprisingly. The rosewater scent is my favorite. The product says it hydrates and replenishes, evens skin tone, and moisturizes and conditions. Now, I can’t really tell if my skin tone is more even after using this product. This face lotion does feel super hydrating, and moisturizing. The scent is subtle. It makes me feel like I should be wearing a silk nightgown to bed, instead of a college sweater and plaid pajama pants. This lotion is vegan, cruelty free, and gluten free. I will be purchasing the larger lotion soon.

100% Pure Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream

I got this eye cream off the Petit Vour website for $8. I got this product in December, and I still have more than 80% of it left. Most of the time I only use a little bit for my under eyes. You should definitely try this product out because for the money it does last a long time. Also it’s coffee bean scented, I mean if you love coffee like me you will want to eat this. The product helps dark circles, and puffiness. I just started using eye cream actually because I noticed they were starting to get dry. This product helps dry under eyes a lot. I also recommend the Acure Eye Cream that comes in a purple container.

Acure Moroccan Argan Oil

This serum was about $12 I think, and I purchased it at Whole Foods. I started using a serum because my skin gets dry in the winter. The product has vitamin E, essential fatty acids, which is suppose to restore the texture and tone the skin. Acure’s oil is lightweight, and it feels great on the skin. I would recommend an oil serum to anyone, because oil is beneficial for the skin. I literally later this up on my neck and elbows too, because they tend to be dry as well. This oil is like gold, and you can use it anywhere that feels dry.

Review on Lily Lolo Mascara and Makeup Wipes

Alright I know I haven’t been posting as much, but I really wanted to post this review today. This is a review on the Lily Lolo mascara. This mascara has a lot of hype, and for good reason. I also wanted to review these makeup wipes that I purchased at Target. Please make sure to check out these products.

Lily Lolo Mascara

This mascara is amazing! I have been wanting to try this out for a long time. I heard a lot of great reviews about it, and now I can understand that it truly is great. As of now, I think this mascara is my number one, and number two would go to the Pacifica’s Dream Big mascara. I bought this mascara on Petit Vour for $20. I think this is a great product, and I only wish it was accessible in stores. My lashes were naked for a week, because I was waiting for it to come in the mail. Four coats of this mascara, and my lashes are voluminous and long. The one down side that I have noticed with this mascara is when I cry I kind of get this burning feeling. For that reason I try to fan myself when I’m laughing because I don’t want my eye to burn from the mascara. Other than that though I would repurchase!

Shea Moisture Peace Rose Oil Complex Sensitive Skin Facial Wipes

So I went to Reno last weekend, and I’ve been just using coconut oil as makeup remover, but I didn’t want to carry a container of coconut oil when traveling. So I went to Target and got these wipes for $5.49. These wipes are biodegradable which was a bonus reason for buying them, because I’m always watching my carbon footprint. I really like these wipes because they don’t irritate my eyes. I have used a lot of wipes and makeup removers and they just hurt my eyes so much, that I’ve just stuck to using coconut oil to remove my makeup. But because I was traveling, I definitely wanted a makeup remover that was light in my duffle bag, and easy to use. I also love the rose scent!

Rosewater

Okay there isn’t much to say other than I love this scent. I use it as an aromatherapy scent, so if I feel like a need a pick me up, I think this scent makes me feel refreshed and energized. I also love putting this in my hair to make it smell good, and I will mist it on my face in the morning or at night. Overall I think everyone will likes this spray.

Let me know what you think! Have you tried any of these products?
