Hi my beauty tribe! If you follow me on Instagram then you know I recently bought the W3ll People Expressionist Mascara. I wanted to compare the Lily Lolo Mascara and the W3ll Expressionist Mascara, because they are comparable. Recently I reviewed the Lily Lolo mascara, since I bought it several weeks ago. I think there is definitely more room for the green beauty world to create a better mascara, but I do have a favorite for now. Please keep reading if you want to learn which green beauty mascara is best for you.
W3ll People Expressionist Mascara- $21.99
This mascara does not clump.
It states that it “coats even the shortest of lashes, delivering a flawless and even finish.” This mascara hands down, gets the job done by defining every eyelash.
It has natural jojoba oil which nourishes lashes.
It’s suitable for sensitive eyes.
I had a little bit of fall out under my eyes.
Lily Lolo Mascara- $20
It definitely provides length and volume. At first I really liked this mascara, because of how much volume it gave my lashes.
When I first used the product, my lashes didn’t clump.
It lasts all day, and stays put.
It irritated my eyes throughout the day, but mostly towards the end.
My lashes started to clump after about a month of using this mascara. In this photo, I just pulled out the brush from the tube and you can see how clumpy the brush is.
At first I really liked the Lily Lolo mascara, mostly because it was the first green beauty mascara that gave my lashes length and volume. I didn’t like that it irritated my eyes. Overall I think I have a love/hate relationship with the Lily Lolo mascara. It’s like when you eat cake, and you tell yourself you are only going to take one bite. Then of course you take two more bites, and then before you know it you finished the cake.
The W3ll People Expressionist Mascara is good for right now. I really like that it doesn’t clump, and it grabs all of my lashes. It doesn’t irritate my eyes which is a plus.
For over a year now, I’ve been using cruelty free deodorant. Cruelty free deodorant is one of the most difficult products to transition to.
The ingredients in the deodorants for instance, made me feel itchy. That is when I found out that I was allergic to the baking soda in the cruelty free deodorant. I started looking at the ingredients before purchasing, and that’s when I started finding more information on green beauty products. In short, please read ahead to find out which cruelty free and baking soda free deodorants I use.
Meow Meow Deodorant Cream, Baking Soda Free, Grapefruit – $14
I bought this on Petit Vour’s website. To be honest, I really wanted the lavender scent, but it was sold out. I do like the grapefruit scent though, but I will definitely purchase the lavender scent next time. The grapefruit scent is subtle. What I do love about this cream is that it is very soft, I felt that with the Schmidt’s deodorant it was very rough to smooth on the skin. The deodorant is vegan, and is made with all organic ingredients which is a huge plus for me. I didn’t get itchy with this cream, nor did I get a rash, which is one thing I love about it. It doesn’t last all day though. I have to reapply once throughout the day, but I mean our bodies are meant to sweat, so I can’t get angry with the product. For the price, I do feel that it is a tad expensive, but I think it is worth it for a cruelty free, vegan, and organic deodorant.
Lavish Extra Gentle Deodorant Lavender + Melaleuca – $11.99
I found this deodorant on The Organic Bunny’s blog. I love that you can purchase it from Etsy, because it is one of my favorite websites to order from. This product comes from a small business. One reason why I love this product is because it is gentle, and it comes in a stick formula. I also have to apply this once throughout the day, because generally I am a sweaty person. I finished this product in a month, which made me wish it lasted longer. The ingredients in this product are also organic, and it is handmade.
