Hello beauties! In this blog post I want to review two products from Hynt Beauty. The beauty brand is organic, and these are the first products I’ve ever purchased from this company. I really wanted to like Hynt Beauty, since I’ve heard great reviews. I didn’t care for either one of their products though. For comparisons, I have combination skin. One of the products I purchased was the Duet Perfecting concealer in light, and the mascara from Hynt Beauty. Both products were $24. I think the mission behind the brand is great, and I love the packaging. A little background on how I found out about this brand, is that I saw a video on YouTube from The Green Bunny. I used her discount code to make the purchase, and thank god I did. Please make sure to keep reading to find out what I thought about the products.
Hynt Beauty Mascara Review
Creates gentle lashes
Takes too many applications to actually see the product.
This product isn’t buildable. If you apply to much mascara it can get clumpy.
After two applications my lashes looked thin and long, but not enough volume.
I noticed some fall out throughout the day
Hynt Beauty Concealer Review
The Hynt Beauty concealer is similar to RMS Un Cover-Up Concealer/Foundation. After using the Hynt Beauty concealer, I came to the conclusion that I absolutely love RMS. Hands down it’s the best green beauty product! Anyway, to find out what I think about Hynt Beauty Perfecting concealer keep reading.
The color is true and it doesn’t turn orange at all.
Comes in a cute little recycled jar, same as the RMS.
It creases throughout the day
Throughout the day the concealer feels heavier under the eyes
Like I said I have combination skin, so maybe that’s why the concealer didn’t work for my skin. I tend to have oily skin on my t-zone. RMS un cover concealer/foundation is comparable to the Hynt concealer, and I love RMS. I prefer the W3LL People mascara or Lily Lolo mascara to the Hynt Beauty. Please let me know in the comments if you have tried the Hynt Beauty concealer or mascara. What are your thoughts?
Who doesn’t love a good organic lipstick? I am excited to share that I found an excellent green beauty lipstick. Now I don’t have to worry about toxic chemicals in it. 100% Pure had a promotion sale more than a month ago. So basically if you had the link and shared it on your Facebook page, then it allowed you to get a free matte lipstick and only pay the shipping ($5.99). I was super excited, since the organic lipsticks are usually $29. 100% Pure lipsticks are as pricey as sushi.
Review on 100% Pure Cocoa Butter Matte Lipstick
The packaging describes it as “An ultra-matte, lightweight lipstick that glides on seamlessly for a soft finish while providing vibrant color from all-natural fruit pigments.”
The description is 100 % accurate.
I was so surprised, and shocked that the lipstick was matte, but it didn’t feel like it stuck to my lips.
It glides really well on the lips, and of course I made sure to have clean dry lips before applying. I did notice that after about an hour the lipstick wiped away, so I would not describe this as long lasting. The smell is amazing though. I loved the fruit smell, because all the ingredients are natural. Some of the ingredients are cherry, cabernet grape, apricot, organic cocoa, shea butter, pomegrante, lavender, rosemary, and peach.
The color sandstone gres is a brown lipstick with hints of orange. It is a nude lipstick for sure. It is wearable for light or light to medium skin tones. I don’t think this would be a good color for medium or dark skin tones.
I can’t wait to try out more of 100% Pure’s lipstick collection, since I’ve heard nothing but great things.
Lipsticks are my most favorite beauty product ever! I mean with a touch of color you can easily transform your face, and that’s without magic. So I’ve been trying new organic lipstick for a short time. I decided to buy these two cruelty free and organic lipsticks because I absolutely loved the color. Prior to using these organic lipsticks, I was using the Colourpop lippes. But I wanted to switch to organic lipsticks, because the ingredients are better and healthier for the skin. Please keep reading if you want to know what I think about these cruelty free and organic lipsticks.
Au Naturale in Marrakesh- $22
I first heard of this lipstick on Logical Harmony’s YouTube Channel. I bought it from Safe and Chic website. Marrakesh is a warm matte pink (pictured left). It is cruelty free, vegan, 100% natural, and it is made in the United States. I love the morals of this company, and I definitely plan on buying more from this brand. The formula for this lipstick is matte, and it lasts for about four hours on me. I noticed that it did make the lines on my lips visible, and because of that I had to add lip balm on top. This color is super pretty, and I did get a lot of compliments when I wore it.
Ilia in Funnel of Love- $26
I bought this cruelty free and organic lipstick online from Safe and Chic too. Ilia is much more moisturizing that the Au Naturale. I liked that my lips felt soft with this, but at the same time I felt that the lipstick moved around a lot and I had to retouch it with my fingers. This color is a soft nude with peachy undertones. Most likely I am going to buy the tinted lip conditioners, because on the website it said that these lipsticks pair well with those. I could go on and on, but I really liked this lipstick and I want to buy more.
Hey everyone! I’ve been wanting to do a review on these two Juice Beauty products for awhile. I have been using them for about three months. These were the first two products I ever purchased from Juice Beauty.
First off, I didn’t really have an immediate impression about these products, which is why I didn’t review them sooner. I’ll start with the primer. I like that it doesn’t feel rough on my skin. I was using the NYX Poreless primer, and it made my skin feel irritated. I like that the Juice Beauty primer felt nice, and clean on my skin. My makeup did smudge throughout the day with the Juice Beauty primer, especially on my t-zone, which is where I am oily the most. To be completely honest I don’t think I would repurchase this product.
Next, time to review the Juice Beauty Cleansing Milk. I have been using this to remove my makeup, and it does the job. I did notice however, that I had to rub coconut oil on my eyelids if I wanted to get my eye makeup off. I think the cleansing milk is good to take off face makeup, but not eye makeup. I don’t think this is the best cleansing remover, but it did make my skin soft. It did irritate my eyes, which is why I would rather use coconut oil.
